Asbestos Management Survey
An asbestos management survey is just one of the many surveys we offer in Surrey, and this is your standard asbestos survey. If you suspect that asbestos is present inside your property but wish to be sure, this is the survey we will carry out for you.
With an asbestos management survey, we will thoroughly inspect all areas of your property that are at risk of containing asbestos. We work quickly to minimise disruption, but we are comprehensive in our search.
If we identify any asbestos-containing materials, we will mark this in our report, providing details about the location and condition of the asbestos. We also include photographic evidence in our reports, ensuring they are comprehensive and follow all legal guidelines. From here, we can provide further advice on asbestos management.
Asbestos Refurbishment and Demolition Survey
The second of our asbestos surveys is an asbestos refurbishment and demolition survey, carried out if you plan work on the property. Any construction or demolition work can damage and disturb asbestos, which can be extremely dangerous, so you first need to locate asbestos and remove it.
We can help with this through our asbestos refurbishment and demolition survey. These surveys are only carried out in unoccupied buildings as they are very destructive – we need to find even well-concealed asbestos.
We work comprehensively to locate any asbestos on the premises, marking in our report where it is located and what condition it is in, including photographic evidence. From this, we can plan for the removal of the asbestos, leaving you clear to begin your building work.
Re-Inspection Survey
The third and final asbestos survey we offer is a re-inspection survey, and these are regular surveys carried out to keep an eye on previously recorded asbestos. In some cases, when we have carried out an asbestos survey and located ACMs, these can be left in place as they are in no danger of being damaged or disturbed.
However, in these cases, keeping a close eye on the asbestos is important, which is where re-inspection surveys come in. Our team carries out these surveys regularly, and we use them to inspect the already identified asbestos for any damage. If nothing has changed, the asbestos can remain in place, but if it is disturbed or damaged, we will need to remove it.
