Professional Asbestos Removal Services in Sussex
If there is asbestos in your property that is likely to be disturbed or damaged, or if it has already been damaged, it will need to be removed for safety. This is something we can carry out for you at Complete Asbestos Solutions. However, there is a process we follow before carrying out any asbestos removal services.
We follow an asbestos management process, which starts with a survey of your property to identify any asbestos. We will then move on to sample analysis, which allows us to identify the type of asbestos in your property. From there, we can then come up with a plan for asbestos removal.
So, the three steps we follow in our asbestos management process are:
Asbestos Survey
The first step we take in our asbestos management process is to carry out an asbestos survey on your property. This is to identify whether asbestos is present in your property and, if so, where it is located and the condition it is in. There are various types of asbestos survey, from standard surveys to refurbishment and demolition surveys, which are used on properties undergoing construction.
Our asbestos surveys are simple. We will inspect your property for any asbestos-containing materials, being thorough in our approach. If we find any asbestos, we will note down where it is located and the condition it is in.
After we have completed the asbestos survey, we will compile a written report detailing every area where asbestos was located and the condition that it is in. We will provide photographic evidence within our written report, which will also detail the next steps.
Asbestos Sampling and Bulk Analysis
The second step in our asbestos management process is to carry out asbestos sampling and bulk analysis. We will take samples of the asbestos found in your property and send these samples to our laboratory, where our specialists will analyse them. They will determine the type of asbestos it is, which enables us to be more precise in our service.
Asbestos Remediation
The final step after analysis is remediation, and this is the process by which we remove the asbestos in your property. After the analysis, we will know which type of asbestos your property has, and this enables us to come up with a detailed plan of action for removal.
If we deem the asbestos to be unsafe, so if it is likely to be disturbed or damaged, we will opt to remove it from the property. If the asbestos has already been damaged or disturbed, we will again opt for asbestos removal services. We handle all asbestos removal services safely and we correctly dispose of all asbestos too.
However, there will be some cases where asbestos removal isn’t required. This occurs if the asbestos is in a place where it isn’t likely to be disturbed or damaged. In these cases, we can instead carry out asbestos encapsulation, where we install a protective layer around the asbestos. This effectively seals it, and we can then keep an eye on it through regular inspections.
PAT Testing
We don’t just carry out asbestos-related services here at Complete Asbestos Solutions. In addition to our asbestos management services, we can also carry out a variety of other safety services, including PAT Testing.
This stands for portable appliance testing, and it involves the inspection of your electrical appliances and equipment. We thoroughly inspect your electrical equipment and appliances to ensure they remain safe to use.
